A written tour of Enchanted Princess

In the summer, I was lucky enough to sail aboard Enchanted Princess for my own holiday. Over the course of my seven-night cruise visiting Italy, Greece, Croatia and Montenegro, I quickly got to know the ship and all she has to offer.

Part of Princess Cruises’ Royal Class, Enchanted Princess entered service in 2020 and is one of the line’s largest ships, carrying more than 3,600 guests at full capacity. 

Despite her size, I found her surprisingly easy to navigate. By the end of the cruise, I had spent time in everything from the bustling Piazza and pool decks to the quieter lounges and restaurants. Here, I thought it would be useful to detail each of her decks, explaining the public spaces and cabin accommodations available. 

Public spaces: 

• The Water Shuttle Embarkation area is where guests board tender boats when the ship can't dock directly alongside a port. 
• There is a Medical Center on Deck 4. 
• Enchanted Princess has 16 lifts. 

Public spaces: 

• The Lotus Spa & Salon is home to the Beauty Salon, Treatment Rooms and The Enclave. The Beauty Salon offers hair and beauty treatments, while the Treatment Rooms are where guests can book massages, facials and other spa treatments. The Enclave features a heated hydrotherapy pool, heated stone beds, steam rooms and relaxation areas. 
• Guest Services and the Shore Excursions Desk are on Deck 5. 
• Just opposite Guest Services is The Catch by Rudi, a speciality restaurant serving seafood dishes created in collaboration with chef Rudi Sodamin. 
• The Piazza spans three decks. Deck 5 is home to the International Café, Good Spirits at Sea, O’Malley’s Irish Pub, the Gelateria, The Shops of Princess and the Internet Café. 
• Open 24 hours a day, the International Café serves fresh pastries, desserts, light bites and speciality coffees to enjoy in or take away. 
• Good Spirits at Sea features a bar and plenty of seating. A small stage hosts entertainment and various events throughout the cruise. 
• O’Malley’s Irish Pub features a bar, plenty of seating, live music and an à la carte menu.
• Located beside O’Malley’s, Gelateria serves a selection of ice creams and other sweet treats. 
• The Shops of Princess sells everything from souvenirs and snacks to jewellery, watches and designer accessories. 
• Santorini Dining Room is one of the ship’s main dining rooms and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner on selected days. 

Public spaces:

• Forward on Deck 6 is the lower level of the Princess Theater, the ship’s main entertainment venue.
• Adjacent to the theatre is the Arcade, which features a selection of video and arcade games. 
• The Princess Casino features slot machines and gaming tables. Located next door, Double Down Bar serves a range of alcoholic and soft drinks.  
• The Piazza on Deck 6 is home to Ocean Terrace Sushi, The Shops of Princess, the Photo Gallery, Fine Arts Gallery, Crooners Bar, Captain’s Circle Loyalty and Future Cruise Planning. 
• Ocean Terrace Sushi serves sushi, sashimi and other seafood dishes. 
• The Photo Gallery displays professional photographs taken throughout the cruise, while the Fine Arts Gallery showcases artwork available to purchase. 
• Crooners Bar is a piano bar with plenty of seating, live music and a menu of cocktails and drinks. 
• Captain’s Circle Loyalty and Future Cruise Planning can assist with loyalty programme enquiries and future cruise bookings. 
• The Capri Dining Room is one of the ship’s main dining rooms. 
• The Amalfi Dining Room is another of the ship’s main dining rooms and is home to the Chef’s Table Lumiere, an exclusive multi-course dining experience. 

Public spaces: 

• Forward on Deck 7 is the upper level of the Princess Theater, which provides additional seating for production shows, guest entertainers and other performances. 
• Next to the Princess Theater is The Shops of Princess. 
• The Piazza on Deck 7 is home to Bellini’s, Sabatini’s Trattoria and Gigi’s Pizzeria by Alfredo. 
• Bellini’s features a bar, comfortable seating and a menu of cocktails, wines and other drinks. 
• Sabatini’s Trattoria is Princess Cruises’ speciality Italian restaurant and features an al fresco dining area.
• Gigi’s Pizzeria by Alfredo serves freshly made pizzas and Italian favourites and also features an al fresco dining area. 
• OceanFront features comfortable seating and floor-to-ceiling windows with sea views. 
• Princess Live! hosts game shows, quizzes, demonstrations and other live events throughout the cruise. Adjacent to the venue, Princess Live! Café serves drinks, light bites and sweet treats. 
• Crown Grill is Princess Cruises’ speciality steakhouse. Located alongside the restaurant, Crown Grill Bar serves a range of alcoholic and soft drinks.
• Situated at the aft of the ship, the Vista Lounge hosts live music, guest entertainers, quizzes and other activities throughout the cruise.

• There are 10 category IB, 6 category IC, 2 category IE and 3 category IF Interior staterooms.
• There are 14 category BC, 3 category BF, 62 category BW, 4 category D4, 8 category DC, 13 category DF and 44 category DW Balcony staterooms. 
• There are 18 category MC, 26 category ME and 16 category MF Mini Suites. 
• There are 2 category S2 Suites. 

Cabins:

• There are 8 category IA, 7 category IB and 8 category IE Interior staterooms. 
• There are 2 category O6 Oceanview staterooms.

Public spaces:

• The Wedding Chapel is used for weddings, vow renewals and other private ceremonies at sea. 
• The Concierge Lounge is an exclusive venue for suite guests and features comfortable seating, refreshments and concierge services.

Public spaces:

• Midship on Deck 16, Alfredo’s Slice, THE MIX and The Salty Dog Grill are located around the main pool area. 
• Alfredo’s Slice serves a selection of freshly made pizzas by the slice.
• THE MIX is a poolside bar serving cocktails, beer, wine and soft drinks. 
• The Salty Dog Grill serves complimentary burgers, hot dogs and other casual favourites. 
• The Sky Pool is the ship’s main swimming pool and is surrounded by sun loungers, seating and three hot tubs. 
• The SeaWalk extends out over both sides of the ship and features a glass walkway suspended above the ocean. 
• The SeaView Bar serves a range of alcoholic and soft drinks. Next door, Swirls offers complimentary ice cream. 
• The World Fresh Marketplace is Enchanted Princess’ buffet restaurant and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Located within the buffet, The Pastry Shop offers a selection of cakes, desserts and sweet treats. 
• At the aft of Deck 16, the Wake View Pool is reserved for adults and offers views over the ship’s wake. Adjacent to the pool, Wake View Bar serves a range of drinks. 

Cabins: 

• There are 2 category IC and 10 category IF Interior staterooms. 
• There are 8 category BC, 12 category BF, 2 category DC, 2 category DF and 4 category DW Balcony staterooms. 
• There are 2 category M1, 14 category MC and 6 category MF Mini Suites. 

Public spaces:

• The Retreat Pool is located forward on Deck 17 and is surrounded by comfortable seating. Adjacent to the pool, the Retreat Bar serves a range of alcoholic and soft drinks.
• The Bandstand hosts live music, movies under the stars and other outdoor entertainment throughout the cruise.
• Deck 17 is also home to four hot tubs. 
• The family area is home to The Beach House Teen Lounge, The Lodge, The Treehouse and the Children’s Outdoor Area. 
• The Beach House is designed for teenagers and offers games, activities and dedicated social spaces.
• The Lodge is a space for younger children and hosts a range of supervised activities.
• The Treehouse is Princess Cruises’ children’s club for younger guests. 
• The Children’s Outdoor Area provides additional outdoor space for children’s activities and games. 
• Located aft, the Fitness Center features a range of cardio and strength-training equipment. 

Cabins: 

• There are 6 category O6 Oceanview staterooms. 
• There are 38 category BC Balcony staterooms.
• There are 6 category S6 and 2 category S7 Suites. 

Public spaces:

• Forward on Deck 18 is The Sanctuary, an adults-only retreat with comfortable loungers, private cabanas and dedicated attendants. 
• There are two hot tubs on Deck 18. 
• Movies Under the Stars features a large poolside screen used for films, concerts and live sporting events.
• The Jogging Track circles the upper decks and provides a dedicated space for walking, jogging and running. 
• The sports area is home to The Experience Center and Center Court. 
• The Experience Center is used for activities, games and sports simulations. 
• Center Court is a multi-use sports court used for basketball, pickleball and other organised activities. 

Cabins:

• There are 2 category S0 Suites. 

Public spaces:

• The Greens Mini Golf is a nine-hole miniature golf course located on the highest public deck of the ship.
